    Way to Go - Mercy/Xavier Cheerleaders

    Congratulations to the Xavier High cheerleaders from Mercy High. The kids finished first in the Windsor Warriors Cheerleading competition and first in the large varsity division New England Cheerleaders Association competition held at East Haven High School.     Mercy’s Mary Adametz pitched a complete-game two-hitter as the Tigers won at Hamden Wednesday, 7-2.Mercy’s Tori Vickerman was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs, Adametz had two doubles and two RBIs and Kelly Murphy had two hits and two runs as the Tigers won their seventh straight since dropping their opener.
