Sixty students at Mercy High School earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams for the 2019-2020 school year. The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP Exams. Kylie Johnson ’19 builds on her TechTiger skills and resources and co-pilots a plane she helped build as part of the Teens to Flight program.
Kylie is in her sophomore year at RIT, Rochester Institute of Technology, studying mechanical engineering with an aerospace option. That means her focus is in aerospace but her degree will be in mechanical engineering.
